April is Occupational Therapy Month 💚💙

So, what is Occupational Therapy?
OT helps individuals develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for everyday life—especially the “occupations” that are most meaningful to them.

In pediatrics, a child’s primary “occupations” are play, learning, and social interaction. Our OT’s use play-based and individualized approaches, to help infants and children gain confidence + reach their fullest potential!

We’re so grateful for the therapists on our team who make this work so meaningful every day 🌟

Sensory—but make it denim ✨

We had so much fun blending function and creativity while making this custom weighted jacket for our friend! Our goal was to design something that felt comfortable & looked cool, while still supporting his sensory needs.

Using a classic denim jacket, we carefully added weight based on guidelines tailored to his size and preferences—then finished it off with personalized touches to match his sweet personality 💙

Thanks to the amazing turnout and support for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Sensory Showing, we’re excited to announce that we will officially be starting a monthly Sensory-Friendly Saturday series! 💙🍿

Each month, we’ll announce a new movie title, date, and time—so keep an eye on our page for updates! Our May title will be announced soon! 👀
