The time has arrived.
We need to talk about your need to always be productive.
{Guilty!🙋🏼♀️ 🫣}
So, this is your sign to TAKE A BREAK.
When you're burning the candle at both ends, your flame will eventually burn out.
It doesn't matter if you LOVE your life, your family, & your job. It can happen to anyone.
So, let's start with a change of scenery, even if it's just going outside. Get out of your office, your house, your car, wherever you spend the majority of your day, and get some fresh air & sunshine.
Next, clear your mind. Forget about your to-do list, your work, and where you have to take the kids next.
Now, rest. Take a nap, meditate, listen to calming sounds, or get lost in a book. Do anything that calms your mind.
Feel better? Good!
Now you have reset your body and you can get back to work.
But, before you do, consider planning at least 24 hours of no responsibility. And plan to do it at least once a month if possible.
You might feel like you have super powers, but you can't do it all. Not without burning out.
So let me say it one more time and a little louder for the people in the back: IT IS OK TO TAKE A BREAK!
