New season, new rules. This is when people's seasonal allergies start kicking in, so we're here with some tips to help you take care of yourself this spring.

#1: Avoid rubbing your eyes -- use a cold compress or eye drops instead!
#2: Use a HEPA air filter to keep the air in your home clean.
#3: Protect your eyes by wearing sunglasses outside! The goal is to avoid pollen, especially on high-pollen days.

As we head into spring, be prepared for seasonal allergens, which may trigger an immune response.

We love seeing plants and trees bloom around this time of year, but their pollen can cause sneezing, itchy eyes, and congestion.

To reduce exposure to allergens in the air, we recommend closing your windows during high pollen counts. Wash your bedding, keep the eyedrops handy, and wash that pesky pollen off your body and hair before bed.
