We hope you're starting to see and hear the buzz about DCH's Platinum Jubilee on Wednesday, November 19th!

Anticipation for that day's public ribbon cutting hosted by the Perry Chamber of Commerce is high, and our departments anxiously await an opportunity to show off and educate on some of our newly remodeled clinical spaces.

Below is a video that walks you through some of the same details in our graphic, as well as provides some additional information that may answer questions you have.

Still have questions following? Give the hospital a call and request the Foundation office.

We hope you can join us!

Don't forget Dr. Tim Vinyard is also at DCH for knee arthroscopy!

Knee arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that allows the surgeon to examine the inside of the knee joint through small incisions. It is used to diagnose and treat various knee conditions, such as:

Meniscus tears
Ligament injuries (e.g., ACL, PCL)
Cartilage damage
Bone spurs
Synovitis (inflammation of the joint lining)

Procedure:

The patient is typically placed under general or regional anesthesia.
Small incisions are made around the knee joint.
An arthroscope, which is a thin tube with a camera, is inserted into one incision.
Sterile fluid is pumped into the joint to expand it and improve visibility.
The surgeon uses the arthroscope to examine the joint and identify any abnormalities.
If necessary, surgical instruments can be inserted through the other incisions to repair or remove damaged tissue.
The incisions are then closed, and a bandage is applied.
