On this National Caregivers Day, hear from our residents who want to acknowledge all the hard work of our dedicated team! We are incredibly grateful for all you do for our residents!
💕Barb Torio, a new Independent Living resident to St. Clare Commons who previously was a DON at an Alzheimer's community. She is volunteering in our Memory Care Unit and feels that "all the staff are kind, caring and gentle" which she believes is of the utmost importance with this population. She could not name just one caregiver.
💕Hope Fogle, a resident in long term care, who appreciated all team members- "there's not one who doesn't do a good job."
💕Lucy Flores, a resident in long term care, who wants to congratulate Shannon in particular because she gives the best baths "and washes my back plus washes and dries between my toes." Lucy also praised Mandy as a terrific aide as well.
💕Joyce Nalls, a resident in skilled nursing who wishes to thank all of the aides and nurses she has worked with. She is very pleased with one nurse in particular who will come in and cover for the aides when they are not available. She believes this is above and beyond.
💕Barbara Smithers, a resident of our skilled nursing unit. She is thrilled with Jackie who is "very attentive to needs and is respectful of boundaries."
