🍂 TIPS TO ACHIEVE + MAINTAIN HEALTHY SKIN
🧘♀️Chillax - Stress makes your skin break out and can make skin conditions like psoriasis much worse. Find fun ways to manage your stress. Laugh more. Get consistent sleep — between seven and nine hours a night is ideal. Exercise daily, try meditation, and take some time to just breathe.
💦Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate! - Sometimes the simplest actions give you the greatest benefits. Hydrating your entire body by drinking eight glasses of water daily helps to moisturize your skin. Get creative with your water by adding lemons or cucumbers to make it even more refreshing. Water is a wonderful purifier and clears out the dangerous toxins that can hurt your skin, so drink up! Did you know our skin renews itself every 28 days like clockwork?
✅Check Yourself - Since November is National Healthy Skin Month, winter is an especially good time to check yourself carefully for spots with unusual shapes or colors that might indicate skin cancer. Look for new moles that seem to appear out of nowhere. People with darker complexions aren't exempt from skin cancer. Although skin irregularities are not often apparent on darker skin, people of ethnic backgrounds tend to die more often from skin cancer.
🥼Have Your Skin Examined Yearly - An annual skin exam conducted by board-certified dermatologist or physician assistant can save your life.
