Did you know:
Your baby can open their eyes in the womb!? ๐
Their eyes begin development around 6 weeks after conception.
By Week 10, the cornea, pupil, iris, retina, lens, and eyelids are all formed but the eyes remain closed/fused shut.
Eyes will begin to open around 27 weeks.
Around 32 Weeks, they can let in more or less light and may be able to make out dim outlines of shapes/structures
The first color your little one can see is R E D ๐ด Because this is the color of your womb, the cone cells for red develop first!
Tear ducts do not completely form until after birth-although they can actually cry in the womb as well!
