❓ What a Chiropractic Neck Adjustment Is❓
A cervical spine adjustment is a controlled, targeted movement applied by a chiropractor to improve joint mobility in the neck. It is commonly used for:

-Neck stiffness
-Reduced range of motion
-Muscle tension or guarding
-Postural strain (e.g., long hours at a desk)
-Joint fixation or misalignment in cervical vertebrae

⭐The goal is to restore normal motion and reduce discomfort.⭐

❓ What Happens During the Adjustment❓
Although techniques vary, a typical neck adjustment includes:
- Assessment
- Chiropractor checks your posture
- Range of motion
- Palpates for restricted segments.

Positioning
- You may be seated or lying down.
- The chiropractor gently positions the head to isolate a specific joint.
- Adjustment (High-Velocity, Low-Amplitude Motion)
- A quick, precise movement is applied.

⭐You may hear a pop or click this is just gas releasing from the joint (cavitation).⭐

Aftermath
- Many people notice immediate increased motion.
- Mild soreness for 12–24 hours is possible.

Zach came in for some stiffness in his neck that just wouldn't go away, so with a few palpations and ROM checks, Dr. Hawkins tended to the problematic area and also offered complementary adjustments to his lower back!
