Today is Good Friday. As we approach Easter, I encourage you all to take some time to reflect upon the life of Jesus and the events that took place during Holy Week. Though He lived a perfect, sinless life, Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice so that we may delight in the promise of eternal life with our savior in Heaven. How amazing! When you truly consider the series of events that ultimately led to Jesus’ death it’s heavy. The question that always runs through my head is, “How am I worthy?” The short answer is that I, nor anyone else, is worthy. We are sinners. We fall short each and every day and that’s all the more reason as to why we need Jesus in our lives. Recently, I heard the song called “Sunday is Coming” by Phil Wickham and it so beautifully depicts Holy Week. By the end of the song I always have tears running down my face just in awe of what was done for me on that cross. I know this post was long winded, but it’s something I hold so deeply in my heart. So, today let this be your sign to open your Bible, say a prayer, or even just reflect on what this season truly means. Jesus loves you!
This Good Friday, remember: the darkest moment became the greatest victory.
Through sacrifice came salvation. Through pain came purpose. Through suffering came a love so powerful, it changed the world forever.
Today reminds us that even in our lowest moments, God is still at work. Every trial has meaning, every tear is seen, and every burden is held by a love that never fails.
So whatever you’re facing, hold on to hope. What feels like an ending may be the beginning of something greater. In the silence, in the waiting, and even in the pain — love is still winning. 🤍
