Today, I had the honor of spending time with the College of Lake County women’s basketball team as they came together to recover, reconnect, and rebuild after their game.

We opened with a guided meditation focused on confidence, self-worth, and the power each athlete carries within her. From there, I took them through a restorative sound healing experience designed to calm the nervous system, reset the mind, and support the body’s natural recovery.

Then the fun really began when I handed the instruments over to them as we talked about the science and spirituality of sound: how vibration can soothe stress, enhance focus, deepen team trust, and help the body heal after intense effort.
