During the monthly lunch and learn session at the Miami County YMCA, Maria Rogers, representing Guardian Angel Hospice, delivered a presentation. It was another wonderful occasion filled with both camaraderie and insightful learning experiences. The event provided a great opportunity for fellowship and the acquisition of new knowledge.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Sharen Maxwell on the successful completion of her rehabilitation therapy at Hickory Creek at Peru. Her dedication and diligence with our therapy team paid off, and she is looking forward to returning home with improved and renewed strength, endurance and mobility. 'Tis the season of giving, and it's not too late to donate to our Hygiene Drive! We are accepting unopened toiletries and basic care items through the month of November. All donations will be given to the Miami County Salvation Army Food Pantry to directly benefit our fellow community members. Simply drop donations in our donation box located in our front lobby at 390 West Boulevard Peru, IN 46970!

Congratulations to Patty Emerson, Laundry & Housekeeping Aide, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025, who was celebrated last night at the Quest for Excellence award banquet at the Marriott in Indianapolis. The Quest for Excellence award is the highest level of recognition an ASC employee can receive, honoring those who exhibit a compassionate and dedicated approach that surpasses their typical job requirements.

During these celebrations, we recognized our outstanding Employee of the Month, Lori Cobb, a dedicated nurse with over three years of service. Additionally, Patty Emerson, the lucky raffle winner, was delighted to receive a delightful basket filled with treats, perfect for sharing with her beloved grandchildren.
