IT'S TIP TUESDAY
With the holidays quickly approaching, this week's tip comes from our speech therapist on ways to incorporate safe foods for our seniors to consume on the holidays. If your loved one has a history of a swallowing disorder or difficulty chewing their food, they may be on an altered diet. It is important to follow diet recommendations from your doctor or speech therapist to promote safety during meals. ‘Fabulous and Healing’ is how one resident described the Schallhorn’s live music performance. We would like to extend a HUGE Thank You to Tina and her son’s for performing for us today! The residents LOVED it and can’t stop talking about how wonderful it was.
