Helping Hands Therapy Now Open in Downtown Petal
Helping Hands Therapy, Petal’s newest occupational therapy clinic, is located at 130 N. Main Street in downtown Petal. The clinic is owned and operated by Danielle Dailey, OTR/L, CLT, a certified and licensed occupational therapist and certified lymphedema therapist. Dailey is licensed and trained to treat a variety of conditions including certain neurologic, orthopedic and pediatric conditions, as well as chronic swelling (lymphedema) due to surgery, injury, immobility, cancer treatment or medication toxicity.
Helping Hands Therapy shares clinic space with Drs. Chris Puckett and Austin Davis, occupying four treatment rooms, each designed to treat patients of all ages. The clinic will be open to receive patients beginning April 4th.
According to the American Occupational Therapy Association, "Occupational therapy helps people across their life span participate in the things they want to do through therapeutic activities." Dailey works with each individual patient helping them to develop their own unique skillset “for the job of living".
Helping Hands Therapy is part of a growing trend in healthcare – a direct pay model that offers personalized care focused on the patient and their specific needs, not what the ‘system’ would dictate or allow. Benefits include: heightened level of personal service, decreased wait times, decreased payment conflicts, improved health outcomes, lower overall costs, and transparent pricing.
Health insurance is not required to be a patient at Helping Hands Therapy. Physician referrals are accepted, but not required. Anyone can make an appointment and free screenings are available by calling Dailey directly at 601.494.0087.
With over 27 years experience, Dailey is ready to serve the Petal and surrounding communities by offering innovative, practical solutions for everyday living to individuals of all ages and stages of life.
