The science of VentiCare is simple. VentiCare is manufactured utilizing a proprietary and patent pending process which produces active ions within pure or sterile water. These ions are responsible for maintaining your device clean for longer periods of time. VentiCare is not an antimicrobial solution and it should not be used for disinfection of your CPAP device. VentiCare is 99.9999% water and it is safe for use within CPAP humidifiers when operating your device. VentiCare has been tested at more than 2000 times its commercial concentration against cells isolated from human lung tissue. The results have shown no sign of toxicity. Safety tests for VentiCare are complete per applicable ISO 10993. The product is non-toxic to red blood cells and it is non-mutagenic.
