Congress is considering a variety of federal policy changes that could significantly impact the Medicaid program, including potential cuts to federal funding. Medicaid helps fund critical regional center services, which support programs such as supported living, supported employment, day services, respite care, and many more. Consider setting up a meeting with your local representative to share your concerns: https://bit.ly/findcongressmember

The Justice Department has removed ADA compliance guidelines, citing a Trump executive order. Advocates warn this rollback weakens protections for disabled people in public spaces, workplaces, and healthcare, making it harder to enforce accessibility. While the agency claims these changes reduce red tape, disability organizations say the guidance remains essential. Read more here: https://buff.ly/HQs0ptE
