Benefits of staying home right now:

- Avoiding contact with the infection.

- Resting. It is the foundation of health. Resting helps with
pain reduction, memory, learning, enhanced immunity.

- Getting a daily stretching and/or strengthening routine
happening. 10 - 15 minutes a day. You’ve been meaning
to do it. Now you have the perfect opportunity. Youtube
has many people demonstrating different stretches and
exercises.

- Changing routines and movement patterns. So often our
pain and stiffness comes from repetitive postures and
movements. Many people are having a break from
commuting. For those working from home on a
computer be careful not to have worse ergonomics.

- Opportunity to begin a daily meditation practice. There
are many guided meditations to choose from on youtube.
Even 10 minutes a day will calm the mind and ease stress
and worry.

- Getting in touch with a friend you haven't talked to in a
while and having a chat.

- Spending time in the kitchen cooking nourishing foods
and trying new recipes.

- Being able to start or finish a creative project that's been
on your mind.

- Having time to read more.

- Playing games with the people you live with.

Science is beginning to show what has always been part of the Osteopathic philosophy. That every system works together. What an electrical stimulator does for vagal tone in the study can be done, over time, with cranial osteopathy. Now we need the research that demonstrates the treatment effect.
