On April 21, we had the honor of celebrating something truly special, our volunteers.

At our Annual Volunteer Luncheon, we came together to recognize the people who give their time, compassion, and energy to support our patients, families, and staff every day. This year’s theme, “You are the heartbeat of our community,” was felt in every detail, from the handwritten hearts lining our halls to the conversations shared around each table.

Volunteers enjoyed a wonderful lunch from the Monadnock Country Club, raffles with thoughtful gifts from MCH staff, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere filled with music and connection.

This Saturday, April 25, is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, a time to safely dispose of unused or expired medications.
Too often, unused medications remain in homes where they can be misused or accidentally taken. Safe disposal helps reduce this risk and protects families and communities.
At Monadnock Community Hospital, this work is part of a larger effort. Through our Be the Change initiative, we partner with local organizations to address mental health and substance use in our community. This includes expanding access to education, support, and safe medication disposal options.
A permanent prescription drug take-back box is available at the Peterborough Police Department, providing a safe and accessible way to dispose of medications year-round.

Monadnock Community Hospital is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to support our dedicated Monadnock Regional Pediatrics team.

In this vital role, you’ll help coordinate clinical staff, ensure smooth patient flow, and support high-quality care delivery across the practice. You’ll also serve as an Office Nurse, triaging patient calls, managing prescription refills, and guiding care using the nursing process to support our youngest patients and their families.
