Our programming team loves creating events that both entertain and educate, and recently our community enjoyed two wonderful programs that brought residents together in just that way! 🎶🌍
We first welcomed vibraphonist Rich Araldi for an engaging musical journey through the great songs of the 20th century. Residents enjoyed hearing beloved tunes while learning the fascinating stories, trivia, and history behind the music in this lively and interactive performance.
We also had the opportunity to travel In Darwin’s Footsteps with Eric Simon, who guided attendees through Charles Darwin’s historic voyage and the Galápagos Islands, sharing captivating stories and stunning photos while exploring the origins of the theory of evolution.
It was wonderful to see so many residents attend and take part in these enriching experiences. Our team loves bringing programs like these to the community!

The End 68 Hours of Hunger program serves Peterborough and surrounding towns providing weekend food to children facing food insecurity between Friday lunch and Monday breakfast (68 hours).

RiverMead residents volunteered assembling bags of food and other necessities to help students head into the weekend with a little more support and a lot more care. Actions add up. And we are proud to stand with our neighbors.
