Join us for this casual vibratory experience. You are welcome to sit or lay down while we all join in on one continuous OM (AUM). The way it works is simple- once you run out of breath you just start in again so that together we create one sound.
Here’s why we want to do this:
Vibrational Resonance: The sound of OM creates vibrations that resonate with the body’s cells, aligning them with harmonious frequencies. This resonance activates the vagus nerve, which supports relaxation, stress reduction, and healing.
Connection to the Breath and Mind: Chanting OM helps synchronize the breath with the sound, promoting mindful awareness. This integration calms the nervous system, reduces mental chatter, and fosters a meditative state.
Symbolic Wholeness: OM represents the entirety of existence—past, present, and future. Chanting it reminds practitioners of their connection to the universe, encouraging feelings of unity, peace, and grounding.
Chanting OM in a group amplifies its healing effects through collective resonance, creating a shared energy field of peace and grounding. This can be particularly restorative at this time in our divided political and cultural landscapes, helping participants release tension, reconnect, and anchor into unity, serenity and love.
