A Celebration of Life for Sergeant Major Thomas Lee Morgan, U.S. Army Retired, affectionately known as "Blue," will take place at 11:00AM on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Big Bethel Baptist Church, located at 11010 Bolling Rd, McKenney, VA.

A public viewing will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026, at the chapel in Petersburg, VA.

The burial, with full military honors, will follow at Dinwiddie Memorial Cemetery in Dinwiddie, VA.

Burial services will follow at the Cargill Family Cemetery, Waverly, VA.

On April 17, 2026, Gods angel came in the morning hours to take our Loving Mother, Grandmother, sister, auntie and friend home. Mrs. Starr Lorenzia Gilliam of 18255 Old Forty Road, Waverly, Va., departed this life at her residence among family. Mrs. Gilliam was a native of Sussex County, Va.
