Mc-Nair Trueheart POST NO.622 The mission of the VFW is "Honoring The Dead By Serving the Living - We have served our COUNTRY now We are Serving our Community".

The VFW strives to do good things for deserving people. Annually, the 2.1 million members of the VFW and its Auxiliary contribute more than 11 million hours of volunteerism in the community, including participation in Make a Difference Day and National Volunteer Week. Each year, VFW members team up with like-minded local organizations to serve young people, those with special needs, the environment and many issues to improve their community and strengthen America.
