**We Will Be CLOSED Today Due to Weather**
We have made the difficult decision to close our office for the day. For the safety of our staff and patients we cannot expect anyone to be driving into the office until the roads are cleared. So we will spend our day digging ourselves out of our drives and thanking the plows as they come through so that we can see everyone tomorrow!

If you had an appointment previously scheduled for today, it has been cancelled and you will hear from our lovely Sallie to confirm cancellation, as well as work to get you rescheduled.

If you have an emergency, please safely proceed to the ER as they remain open. In addition, our after-hours emergency nursing line will be available to answer urgent medical questions and help you decide if the ER is appropriate or if things can be managed at home until we open again tomorrow (please do not call for med refills or scheduling questions as the nurses on this line are not the nurses/staff directly associated with our office and cannot answer these questions for you). So please use for urgent medical issues only.

We will be opening late tomorrow due to the winter storm. All patients before 10:45 a.m. have been cancelled and have been notified via phone/voicemail. We are planning on opening at 11 a.m., which means if you were given a 10:45 a.m. appointment arrival time, then you will be the first appointments of the day. We will reassess the safety of traveling in for our staff and patients again in the morning so please stay tuned. Stay safe and warm everyone!

*SAME-DAY SICK VISITS*
Just a reminder to our patients and families: We always keep openings in our schedules throughout the day for same-day sick appointments. If your child needs to be seen and you call during business hours, we guarantee you a same day sick visit. We do this so that you can always be seen by the friendly faces that your child is already familiar with, to keep you out of the Urgent Care/ER so as to save their services for more emergent needs, and ultimately it saves you time and money. It is part of our role as your Patient-Centered Medical Home to be there for all your medical needs, even when those needs creep up unexpectedly!
Keep in mind that same-day-sick visits are not open to ongoing/long-term issues unless those issues have acutely changed or worsened, which we will of course urgently get you in for as well. What if you don’t know where to go based on your symptoms or level of needs? Give us a call and we can help you figure that out too!

We hope your family stays healthy this winter season, but know that when symptoms pop up we are always here to help ❤️‍🩹

*HIRING FULL-TIME NURSING POSITION*

As we enter the new year we are looking to have someone join our team in a full time position- filling a Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday schedule. So if you are interested in discussing the position please drop off your resume to Sallie and we would love to meet you!

Pediatric nursing experience is not required, but being comfortable with kids and a lovely bedside manner is a MUST (obviously!). You'd be joining a team of some seasoned nurses who are truly incredible at what they do keeping the kids of our community healthy and happy!

We practice evidence-based medicine and will continue to do so. The science hasn’t changed and therefore our vaccine recommendations have not changed. We will continue to follow AAP vaccination guidelines, as we know vaccines to be safe, effective, and hands down the single most important thing we can do as providers to keep your child healthy and safe. Thank you for trusting us with the care of your children. Do not fear, we will always have the vaccinations you need!

Update: Power has been restored and phones are back online!

Unfortunately, we are affected by the current power outage resulting in our phone system also being down. If you are having a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest Emergency Room.

If you are a patient currently scheduled for today, we are still happy to see you. Please be patient as we manage through this hiccup.
