Reposting this in honor of Sonya’s birthday. She truly is the glue that holds holds this whole office together. She can help in every area and selflessly does it without complaint. Cheers to the year to come for her!!!

Meet Sonya... SUPER billing and office manager! She has been doing billing for 20 years and has been with Rossman Eye Care since the beginning in 2019. She takes care of all her billing with a trusty Vanilla Carmel Iced Coffee in tow and podcast in her earbuds!! Sonya is a proud wife of 23 years and mother of three wonderful kids. She spends her free time crafting, reading and hanging our with her kiddos. She would love to add learning about photography to that list of hobbies. Her dedication to this office and our patients is shown everyday with her cheery disposition. Her favorite thing is hearing post op stories about all the beautiful colors that patients can see!

Today marks the last full time day of our SUPER intern, Avery. She came to work with us as a graduate of Charlevoix High School. She took a gap year for her internship and to travel abroad before attending college. Avery loves being outdoors - nature, skiing, swimming, golfing, spending time with her 12 year Great Dane, Maizey Blue and is aunt to her brothers dog, Rainey. You can find this 2024 Miss Charlevoix Venetian Queen dining on Mexican food, Tropical Smoothie, or a mocha latte. Avery's favorite part of her time working here is that everyday has its own uniqueness... weather it is a surgery day, learning the origins of cataracts, or she is learning about coloboma of the macula, she loves the different experiences!!

Avery is such a blessing and asset to Rossman Eye Care. We cannot wait to watch her flourish and tackle whatever life brings her!
