Horse girl winter diary 🥶🐴
It’s negative temps, my fingers are frozen into permanent claws, and I’m feeding hay like it’s Tic Tacs—just one more flake… and another… and another because it’s cold and I’m cold, so they have to be cold.
I’ve shoveled paths through snow like I’m building a tiny horse city, breaking ice, slipping on frozen p**p (✨nature’s landmines✨), and questioning every life choice that led me here.
You haven’t truly lived until you’re breaking ice at dawn, dressed like a marshmallow, while your horse stands there judging your life choices… while growing a luxurious winter coat and gaining weight on frozen air.
And the BLANKETS.
Blankets on. Blankets off. Blankets twisted. Blankets ripped. Blankets somehow inside-out, upside-down, and missing a strap I just fixed.
Horse girl winter isn’t a vibe—it’s a full-blown survival game ❄️😂 Cold hands, frozen tears, questionable sanity—but would we trade it? …Ask me again in spring. 🥶
