Medication has a place.
But it shouldn’t always be the first stop.

We don’t have more pain than the rest of the world — we’ve just normalized managing it differently.

Pain is influenced by so much more than what shows up on imaging or what pill you’re handed. Strength. Movement. Sleep. Stress. Load. Lifestyle.

Your body isn’t broken. It usually needs direction — not just a prescription.

If you’re ready to understand your pain instead of just masking it, I’m here for that.

People who work in the fitness industry don't do it for the money. This isn't about an extra paycheck or trying to get rich. It's about getting people excited about being at the gym and working on improving themselves. Hope to see you in one of my classes soon!

Degenerative disc disease. Degenerative joint disease. Arthritis.
They’re basically wrinkles — just on the inside.
They happen to everyone… and they don’t mean you’re doomed.

An ankle injury sidelined this avid gym-goer and kept her out of workouts that mattered to her.
With the right plan and a few visits, she got back to doing what she loves — even while pregnant.
Proof that your body is more capable than you think.

February is the month of love. And usually, we spend it focused on how much we love everyone else—not ourselves. This year, focus on loving you and the one body you were given to carry you through life. Use it. Challenge it. Push it to the limits and do amazing things. Fuel it well, rest when you need to, and listen when something feels off or not quite right. Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish—it’s how you stay healthy enough to keep doing the things you love.

This dancer got injured, and her mom did all the right things.
They saw multiple medical providers looking for answers — but after X-rays came back normal, they were left without guidance or a clear plan.

Time alone wasn’t fixing it. Dancing hurt. And trying to do what she loved ended in tears.

In just a few visits, we got her back to dancing, helped her through her majors competition in November, and last weekend she moved up to the top level of competition.

Proof that normal imaging doesn’t mean “nothing’s wrong” — and the right care changes everything.

Way to Prevail, Myla. 💪🍀

We’re excited to kick off a new social series highlighting some of our favorite vetted networking partners. These are businesses and professionals we know, trust, and confidently recommend. Each one brings something special to our community, and we love sharing not just what they do, but why we genuinely enjoy working alongside them.

Meet Erin!

Erin brings over 18 years of clinical experience to Prevail Physical Therapy & Wellness, and it shows in every part of how she works with her patients. Her approach blends deep clinical knowledge with real human connection, helping people move better, feel stronger, and get back to the activities they love without pain getting in the way.

Her path into physical therapy is rooted in both science and care. Erin earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, then completed her master’s degree in physical therapy in 2006. She works with patients across all stages of life, from pre-teens to senior citizens, and takes the time to truly understand what each person needs to feel confident in their body again.

What we love most about Erin is how approachable and empowering she is! Patients feel heard, supported, and clearly guided every step of the way. She combines hands-on manual therapy with personalized exercise programs and continues to invest in advanced training, including dry needling, blood flow restriction, and pregnancy and post-partum corrective exercise. It’s thoughtful, individualized care done right.

Outside of the clinic, Erin is all about movement and balance too. She enjoys gardening, hiking, biking, and camping with her husband and two children. Her own experience overcoming injury through movement and goal setting deeply shapes how she motivates and connects with the people she works with.

At Prevail Physical Therapy & Wellness, care is never rushed or cookie-cutter. Erin and her team focus on listening first, building plans that fit real lives, and offering full one-on-one sessions with same or next day availability. The goal is simple and powerful, helping people heal, move confidently, and stay active for the long run.

Whether you’re recovering from an injury or looking to stay strong as you age, Erin is someone we trust and are proud to recommend. "Because your path to wellness should be just as unique as you are."

Let's show her all of the love!

One year ago today, I filed the LLC for Prevail — and it still feels a little surreal.

I started this business because I believe health care can be better. People deserve to be listened to, not rushed or brushed aside. And what Prevail stands for truly matters to me.

No one should have to give up doing what they love because of pain or injury. Our bodies are capable of so much more than we think — and you only get one, so you might as well use it.

Push it. Challenge it. Live in it.
And if something doesn’t feel great afterward? That’s exactly why I’m here.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted me this past year. Here’s to helping you feel better and keep doing the things you love — without the hassle.

Because feeling better shouldn’t be complicated.
