New parents, expecting parents, and any staff member considering growing their family were invited. We met so many great people & loved sharing about our services. What an amazing district we have here! Kudos to the HR team for putting on a great event.

🎉 Please help us welcome the newest member of the Ampersand team, Emily Ough, LMSW! 🎉

Emily earned her Master’s in Social Work from Baylor University & her undergraduate degree from UT Austin. She specializes in working with teens & young adults, but sees adults of any age. Emily supports clients who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges through a collaborative and compassionate approach. She integrates cognitive behavioral strategies, mindfulness, and many other therapeutic modalities through a neurodiversity-affirming lens in order to create a safe and empowering space for growth. Emily is passionate about making therapy approachable by using warmth, humor, and honesty to foster connection. Outside of work, she enjoys playing video games, doing arts and crafts, and spending time with friends and family.

Healing doesn’t happen in the darkness and pain festers in the silence. Healing happens when we talk through our issues, when we shine a light on what’s hurting us or holding us back. Therapy offers you that chance to safely talk through your struggles with an expert whose entire goal is to help you heal & move forward.
