W‑sitting can put extra stress on the hips, legs, and core—so it’s best kept as a quick transition, not a long-term sitting position.
The good news? There are lots of great alternatives that support strength, balance, and movement—like criss‑cross, side sitting, long sitting, tall kneel, tummy time, or even sitting on a peanut ball.
Small posture changes = big benefits for growing bodies! 💛

🎉 Zones Craft Time! 🎉

We’ve been learning how feelings fit into the Zones of Regulation—from low‑energy Blue to high‑energy Red. This colorful craft helps kids SEE the zones and talk about them.

Try it at home for an easy feelings conversation starter:
✂️ 4 paper circles
🖍️ Color each one a Zone color (Red, Yellow, Green, Blue)
😊 Draw little faces showing different feelings
🧵 String them together

Hang it up and ask, “Which Zone are you in today?” Kids LOVE showing you!
