Hello 2026. Starting a new year feels like a deep long exhale after a busy, stressful and chaotic last months. There is hope in being able to BEGIN (again). And thereโ€™s also cautious apprehension mixed in with my stubborn hope. โœจ

As the newness of January begins to fade, I hope that we donโ€™t get too jaded by its bleakness. That the stillness of winter can invite us to slow down, rest, and go inwards.

This is a month that can feel like a race on the first day. But may we remember that there is no competition to win. That itโ€™s ok if our pace looks different this year. That itโ€™s less about WHAT we do, and more about HOW we do it: slowly, gracefully, and with acceptance.

The holidays can be a beautiful season to connect but also incredibly exhausting. Burnout is real this time of year โ€” especially for nervous systems that have already been carrying a lot.

If your body feels tired before your calendar does, that isnโ€™t weakness. Itโ€™s wisdom. Burnout often shows up as irritability, shutdown, or feeling โ€œtoo muchโ€ and โ€œnot enoughโ€ all at once. Taking a break isnโ€™t quitting, falling behind, or letting anyone down. Itโ€™s listening. Rest is regulation. Pauses are productive. Stepping back gives your nervous system space to soften, settle, and feel safe again.

This season asks a lot of us โ€” socially, emotionally, financially, sensorially. Youโ€™re allowed to need less.
You donโ€™t owe productivity during the holidays. Remember : regulated bodies heal better. Rest supports connection.
Slow down. Take the break. Youโ€™re allowed. ๐Ÿค

Oof, I get that one a lot!

If weโ€™re playing truth or truth? Sometimes my clientsโ€™ emotions do stick to me, kind of like glitter after a craft project. โœจ

& yeah, I have to decompress, too. But decompression isnโ€™t a bad thing! Itโ€™s how I clear space for myself so I can keep showing up with my whole heart. ๐Ÿ’œ Letโ€™s stop demonizing taking space to process and cleans!

In case you need a reminder : Taking time to reset doesnโ€™t mean youโ€™re fragile. It means youโ€™re wise enough to protect your energy. ๐ŸŒฑ Thatโ€™s the most self-aware thing you can possibly be and the most self-care thing you can do!
