PSJA Health Services was proud to attend the South Texas All-Hazards Conference (STACH) 2026, a training event and conference focused on safety and emergency response.

Our team gained valuable knowledge on the latest in emergency preparedness, safety practices, and coordinated response efforts to better serve our students, staff, and community.

A special congratulations to Ms. Sulema Solis for being a presenter! Her session on “School District Crisis Response” highlighted critical topics including emergency preparedness, emergency drills, infection control, disease outbreak response, and reunification procedures.

Our staff truly enjoyed the conference and appreciated the opportunity to learn, connect, and grow. We also found the City of Alamo’s presentation on Unified Response especially insightful, reinforcing the importance of collaboration during emergencies.

Thank you to everyone who made this experience impactful and informative!

👩🏽‍⚕️🩺Attention Parents🩺👩🏽‍⚕️

Texas Senate Bill 12 requires all students to have a health consent form on file to receive ANY health related services, including first aid and illness care while at school.

If you select “No”, on the consent form, your child will not be cared for or treated by the school nurse/ campus staff if they are sick or injured while at school. *This does not apply to life-threatening or emergency situations.

Be sure to sign the consent form TODAY to ensure your child is ready for the first day of school!

You have a copy of the consent form in the email you provided the school, sign a copy with the nurse at "Meet the Teacher" or visit your child’s campus to sign a copy. ISD

Our Mission

The mission of the PSJA ISD Health Services Department is to promote, protect and enhance the health status of all students.
