Hey BMTF Fam!
Snow storms and quiet weekends in January are the perfect time for reflecting, aren't they?!? It happens to me every time and ironically, 2016 is trending and of course I took the opportunity to think about all that's been in the last 10 years.
It feels a little scary to commit but I'm taking a social media and business sabbatical to fully embrace improving my cognitive health.
I’ve spent the last 15 years building a fitness business I’m incredibly proud of. Through COVID, transitions, moving states, raising kids… it’s been a huge part of my identity.
Lately I’ve realized I’m in the season of enjoying how it's all culminated into true health personally — one where I’m healthier, calmer, and not interested in living inside the noise of the wellness world (I see a lot of it in my social media feeds). So I’m giving myself a year of space. No pressure to “produce,” no chasing algorithms, no expectations of keeping pace with what it used to be. This, this is so exciting to me!
Not an ending to what was. It’s a reset for what The Be More Than Fit Life will mean to me in the future!
I’ve had an amazing opportunity to continue coaching in real life with a company who helps people reverse chronic disease, still using everything I’ve learned — just without an expectation to be everywhere online.
Cheers to making decisions that feel like peace instead of pressure 🥂 I hope you'll do the same for yourself this year!
