Not sure what to call this meal, other than delicious! I used fresh organic kale and Swiss chard from my garden, whole grain rice vermicelli noodles, garbanzo beans, baba ghanoush, and garlic. I deglazed the pan with lemon white wine. I added some seasonings, and YUM!! My dinner took about 10 minutes to cook. So easy and delicious. This was a vegan meal, however, if you desire animal protein, chicken would probably be good. 😁

Growing my own food is so satisfying. I am also growing my own herbs. It is so simple to grow, dehydrate and store herbs that can be used for cooking or medicinal purposes. This is what I’m working on today, dried rosemary. Rosemary has historically been known to fight bacteria, relax, the stomach, stimulate circulation and digestion, and act as an astringent and decongestant. Improve circulation to the brain. Also may help prevent liver toxicity and has anti-cancer and anti tumor properties. Good for headaches, high and low blood pressure Circulatory problems, and menstrual cramps. With so many amazing benefits, my suggestion would be to grow your own in an organic environment. If you don’t have a dehydrator, try your oven at 200° for an hour or so then store in a glass container where it’s cool and dark.
