Greetings to all! William Way Peer Counseling would like to take a moment to wish you all a happy 🏳️‍🌈PRIDE 🏳️‍🌈 month. We also wish you lots of positive vibes as we begin to transition back to what many consider is normal. We hope you're feeling happy and safe during this time. Despite mask mandates lifting, remember there are many who may not feel ready to go without a mask due to a variety of reasons. It's important to be kind, respectful, and supportive towards one another so we can all help lift each other out of this traumatic period of our lives.

Having said that, two things:

1) If you would like to speak with a peer counselor about your concerns over moving out of the pandemic mindset, or anything that has been weighing on your mind, we are still here Monday through Friday from 6-9pm over the phone. Give us a ring at 267-416-0451 and you will be routed to a trained peer counselor ☎️

2) ***We are looking to expand our team of peer counselors!!*** If you are interested in BECOMING a peer counselor, please take a moment to complete our Peer Counseling Volunteer Sign-Up Form below. Please feel free to reach out if you have questions.

There are a lot of crazy things happening right now. While the news of the world is certainly on the minds of many, the beginning of November marks the beginning of the holidays for a lot of people. The holidays may or may not be happening as usual this year; they may look a little different. In the event you're feeling stressed, tired, anxious, sad, overwhelmed, or any number of other feelings, it's important to try and practice mindfulness. We are going to share some mindfulness tips throughout the week to hopefully introduce some new techniques that can help get you through the craziness that the end of 2020 may thrust upon you.

In the event you need to talk out some of these feelings you're having, give us a call! William Way Peer Counseling is open M-F from 6-9pm EST. We can be reached at 267-416-0451 ☎️
