This procedure involves several steps:
Teeth Extraction: All remaining teeth are removed on the same day.
Implant Placement: Four to six dental implants are placed in both the upper and lower jaws. This usually requires precise placement to ensure stability and functionality.
Temporary Teeth: Immediate temporary teeth (often referred to as “immediate load” or “provisional restorations”) are attached to the implants, allowing you to have functional teeth while the implants integrate with the bone.
This approach is known as “All-on-4” or “All-on-6,” depending on the number of implants used, and can provide a quicker solution compared to traditional methods. It’s important to follow post-operative care instructions and attend follow-up appointments to ensure successful integration of the implants and the proper function of the temporary teeth.
