After much reflection — and in light of some unexpected building issues — I’ve made the decision to begin the process of saying goodbye to Vera Doyle.

This shop has been a labor of deep love. While this isn’t the ending I originally envisioned, it’s one I feel at peace with. I won’t be reopening the storefront or relocating to a new space. The online shop will remain open as I begin to wind things down and move through remaining inventory.

To everyone who has visited, supported, sent friends, shared kind words, or carried a little piece of Vera Doyle into your home — thank you. You made this so much more than a shop.

I’ll share more soon, and I hope you’ll stay with me as I figure out what comes next.

Not everyone will celebrate your growth — and that’s something I’ve come to accept with peace.

Building Vera Doyle has been a labor of love, creativity, and deep intention. Every product on the shelves, every display in the windows, every event — it all reflects vision, effort, and personal evolution.

And while I’ve sometimes felt the pressure to stay small or quiet — to not seem like I’m “bragging” — I’ve come to realize that shrinking doesn’t serve the work I’ve poured my heart into.

Sharing progress isn’t ego. It’s truth. And I’m proud of how far this space has come — not because it’s perfect, but because it’s real, it’s evolving, and it’s mine. That confidence can be picked apart. That progress can be met with projections. There’s pressure to be small, unbothered, always humble. And I reject that.

So I’m standing tall in it — the beauty, the progress, the imperfections, and the choice to keep creating and building something that feels aligned, grounded and good. Not for approval. Not for validation, not to prove anything, but because it matters — to me and, I hope, to those who feel seen here.

To those who show up with genuine support — THANK YOU 🙏🏾. I see you. I appreciate you. And I’m keeping on — building something real, in real time.

After months of keeping this quiet, I can finally share—my family and I are going to be on House Hunters! 🏡

Our episode airs Saturday, May 17 at 10 p.m. (9 central) on HGTV! 🎉

Filming this was such a fun, surreal experience. The crew was amazing, made us laugh and feel comfortable and really respected our family. We are super excited (and maybe a little nervous) to watch it, but the whole experience was unforgettable. I’ll be watching from home with my family on the 17th and I’d love for you to tune in too!

Big thanks to for being an amazing realtor and guiding us through the process—you’ll see him in the episode!

This moment means a lot. It’s been a journey—one rooted in finding peace in ALL forms: in our space, in our surroundings, and in our everyday life.
