The Archdiocese of Philadelphia's Office for Persons with Disabilities is partnering with AccessAbleUSA to help parishes make their spaces more accessible to people with all disabilities. AccessAble works with parishes to offer tips and ideas of how accessibility can be enhanced for individuals with mobility needs, sensory needs and non-visible conditions. Ideas offered include quick, low-cost changes, as well as ideas that may be considered in long-term plans.

Parishes that opt to receive services from AccessAble will also be included in AccessAble’s Guides which include in-depth accessibility descriptions complete with photos to help individuals with disabilities and families prepare to visit the parish or attend a parish event.

Please visit www.AccessAbleUSA.com for sample guides.

We will be having two virtual AccessAble information sessions: Wednesday, February 26 at 2:00pm and Thursday, February 27 at 7:00pm. Please register for a session by clicking visiting: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=Od5I9WW_f02HHQfUzb6QzOciYex9IR9EkzNInbZNzNRUOUlUWTczTlVRV1lXVzQ2SEtaQUJVMDhRNC4u
