(Bethlehem, Pennsylvania) – My Daughter’s Team will host its launch meeting at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, January 10th, in the Prosser Auditorium, in the Haupert Student Union Building at Moravian University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. My Daughter’s Team was established to help organizations across the USA that are dedicating to preventing r**e, in**st, FGM, and trafficking.
“Across the world there is a war on women, our daughters and its time to stand up against it,” stated Kelly Lewis, Esquire, founder of My Daughter’s Team. “R**e, in**st, FGM and trafficking are all on the rise in America and it’s time for fathers and mothers to stand-up for their daughters and fight against these evil forces.”
Lewis is the author of Rheingold: Born Fatima, a book focused on ending female ge***al mutilation FGM. In 2022, over 3 million young girls were subjected to FGM. 10 nations in Africa still have 95% rates of young girls subjected to FGM. With border immigration, FGM is increasing in America. The book started the “I’m on my Daughter’s Team” movement.
Registration and networking will start at 5:30 pm, the program will start at 6:00 pm, and conclude by 7:00 pm. The event is FREE. Going-forward, college campuses will play a big role in My Daughter's Team, so we are very pleased to launch at Moravian University. Tuesday, January 10, 2023, Prosser Auditorium, inside Haupert Student Union Building, Moravian University, Bethlehem, PA. Event link: http://bit.ly/3G4BU0W
Here's additional background.

Siri, play Samuel Barber, Adagio for Strings, Op.11"
In 2022, more than $16.7 Billion was spent on political ads, making them the most expensive midterm elections ever, according to a new study by the nonpartisan OpenSecrets. “No other midterm election has seen as much money at the state and federal levels as the 2022 elections,” said Sheila Krumholz, OpenSecrets’ executive director. “We’re seeing record-breaking totals spent on elections up and down the ballot.”
Between the primary and general election, a US Supreme Court order, overturning Roe v. Wade transformed the mid-term election into referendum on abortion rights wth heated debate surrounding abortion and cases regarding a mother's health, r**e, and in**st. Sadly, little or zero dollars are spent on finding solutions to reduce and end r**e, and in**st, or improve women's health. In fact, little or zero dollars were spent detailing a candidate's plan to reduce s*x trafficking, and/or ending FGM (female ge***al mutiliation) in America, or globally. In 2022, evil is winning the War on our Daughters.
R**E: Published by Statista Research Department, Oct 10, 2022, in 2011, there were 84,175 reported r**e cases in the Unites States, and in 2021, there were 144,300 reported r**e cases in the United States, an increase of 64,000 a year. More than 50% of college s*xual assaults occur in either August, September, October, or November. Students are at an increased risk during the first few months of their first and second semesters in college. Overall, 13% of college and graduate students report nonconsensual s*xual contact by physical force or an inability to consent, according to a 2019 Association of American Universities survey of nearly 182,000 students. The highest rates occurred among female undergraduates (25.9%) and college students who identified as gay, transgender, or nonbinary (22.8%).
COLLEGE R**E: A preliminary report issued by My Daughter's Team, an organization devoted to preventing r**e, in**st, FGM, and trafficking, shows r**e statistics at the Top 25 NCAA FBS Schools. Schools receiving federal funding are required by law to report crimes, r**e, and violence against women to the US Department of Education. Source: https://ope.ed.gov/campussafety/ #/institution/search. According to RAINN, only 310 out of every 1,000 s*xual assaults are reported to police. That means more than 2 out of 3 go unreported. Statement by My Daughter's Team: "2,797 reported r**es at NCAA FBS schools, in one year, is absolutely appalling. By reporting 1,755 r**es, the Big Ten conference schools lead the nation in reported r**es with 62% of all reported r**es at NCAA FBS schools. While these schools spend millions on their football teams, violence against women on their campuses continues unabated. With s*xual assault reported only 31% of the time, hundreds of s*xual assaults go unreported on these college campuses. It's time for colleges to protect our daughters, and end violence against women on their campuses."
IN**ST: In the United States of America, 1 in 5 girls and 1 in 20 boys are known to be victims of child s*xual abuse, most of them being victimized by a blood relative. During one year, 16% of children between the ages of 14-17 were s*xually victimized. Children are most vulnerable to child s*xual abuse and in**st between the ages of 7-13. A study conducted in 1986 found that 63% of women who had suffered s*xual abuse by a family member also reported a r**e or attempted r**e after 14.
FGM: In 2019, it was estimated that 4.1 million girls were at risk of FGM. This number of girls cut each year is projected to rise to 4.6 million girls in the year 2030. In 2020 and 2022, COVID-19 compounded the vulnerability of girls and women, especially those at risk of FGM. FGM is currently documented in 92 countries around the world, including the United States. In the US, approximately 513,000 women and girls have undergone or are at risk of female ge***al mutilation (FGM). Women and girls who were born in the US may be subjected to FGM here or even during vacations to their families’ countries of origin — a practice known as “vacation cutting.” Only 39 states have laws against FGM.
TRAFFICKING: Approximately 600,000 to 800,000 victims annually are trafficked across international borders worldwide, and between 14,500 and 17,500 of those victims are trafficked into the U.S., according to the U.S. Department of State. These estimates include women, men and children. Victims are generally trafficked into the U.S. from Asia, Central and South America, and Eastern Europe. Many victims trafficked into the United States do not speak and understand English and are therefore isolated and unable to communicate with service providers, law enforcement and others who might be able to help them.
In the battle between good versus evil, we're losing the War on our Daughters. In direct response, we're building a team of good people, to speak, write, fight, and tell the stories of The War on our Daughters. Efforts like Guardian Group are fighting back. Guardian Group’s mission is to prevent and disrupt the s*x trafficking of women and children while enabling partners to identify victims and predators in the United States. In the war on our daughters, “I'm on my Daughter's team.”
