What an awesome day at the Women’s Empowerment Cup ⚽️

From a bright and early kickoff all the way through the late afternoon, the energy at the tournament was incredible!

Players competing, friends and families cheering, and a full day of community through the game.

We had a great time serving yerba mate and our Salta Sunrise cold brew, cruising around the fields with the Yerba Crewser, meeting new people, and seeing a lot of familiar faces throughout the day.

Huge thanks to and for organizing and supporting such a great event.

And a special congratulations to Ragers FC .fc for winning the Fair Play Award. This award is voted on by the other teams and players and recognizes the squad that represents the best sportsmanship and spirit of the tournament.

Already looking forward to the rest of the year and next year’s Women’s Empowerment Cup.

Hosted by CASA Soccer League, this inclusive 5v5 tournament brings together women, non-binary athletes, and allies for a full day of competition, representation, and community. Proceeds support SAFE-HUB Philadelphia and the Women’s Inclusive Scholarship Fund.

We’ll be there serving cold brew yerba mate, honoring award winners with custom engraved gourds, and celebrating grassroots soccer in Philadelphia.

The event is open to the public. Come watch the games, support the teams, and stop by to try mate alongside other local vendors like and .

How to brew:

Cold brew → 2 tbsp in ½ gallon, steep 12–16 hours.

Yerba mate, hibiscus, lemon peel, and rosebuds blended for a bright, citrus-forward cup with natural caffeine.

Brew it hot.
Cold brew it for the week.
Add it to your traditional mate or tereré.

How to brew:

Cold brew → 6 tbsp in ½ gallon, steep 12–16 hours.
Single serve → 1½ tbsp in 12 oz, 5 minutes at 160–180°F.
French press → 6 tbsp, 5 minutes at 160–180°F.
Traditional mate or tereré → sprinkle ½ tsp on top.
