Just because you have an epidural doesn’t mean movement stops…
Movement is still one of the most powerful tools for helping baby descend, rotate, and engage.
With the right support, you can still labor effectively in positions like:
• Side-lying with a peanut ball for pelvic opening
• Throne position to use gravity while staying supported
• Supported hands-and-knees to encourage optimal positioning
• Asymmetrical lunges in the bed to create space in the pelvis
Epidural ≠ stuck on your back.
It simply means we get more intentional with how you move.
This is where having a knowledgeable doula matters.
We help you use your body strategically, even with limited mobility, so your labor continues to progress.
You still have options.
You still have power.
You are still an active participant in your birth.
Work with a Womb Ish Doula who knows how to support epidural births with intention and skill.
