When we started Small Talk, our goal was to offer child led, strength based care in a way that felt accessible to families. Since 2022, we have grown our team and feel so proud of the work that is happening here. We are speech therapists and mentors first, and we have even learned a lot about the business side along the way.

One thing we are still getting used to is being on camera and showing up on social media. It is not the most natural thing for us, but we wanted to share a little bit of who we are and what we are building at Small Talk. We truly love what we do and hope this gives you a small peek inside.

October is AAC Awareness Month!

To celebrate, we are fundraising to provide a communication poster to a local playground, as well as provide devices to individuals who don’t have access.

AAC helps individuals communicate and connect with the world. AAC is not always accessible through insurance, resulting in out-of-pocket costs to families.

We are turning our advocacy into action! Your support breaks down barriers and promotes inclusion for all children!
