Today I want to highlight someone very close to this work, , my partner in Zimbabwe who continues to hold space for mothers in their own communities.
Recently, she led a prenatal retreat in Bulawayo, creating time for women to rest, breathe, and be supported during their pregnancy journeys.
This is what I love most about this work is that it doesn’t end with one visit or one retreat. It lives on through people like Mercy, through shared knowledge, shared care, and shared commitment to mothers’ wellbeing.
This is what sustainable support looks like:
local women supporting local mothers, in ways that feel safe, familiar, and deeply rooted in community.
I’m grateful for her, and for every mother who showed up for herself in that space. 💚
