â¨Meet Amanda, IV Nurse & Blog Writer at Meeting Point Healthâ¨
Amanda developed a passion for helping others during her time in college, where she volunteered as a resource navigator and su***de hotline counselor. She spent those years empowering others and building meaningful relationships within her community. Studying neuroscience at Penn State, she deepened her fascination with the human body and what itâs truly capable of. She went on to complete a second-degree program to earn her BSN.
Amanda began her nursing career at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center, where she grew as a nurse and deepened her commitment to patient care.
Her curiosity never stopped there. Amanda began asking what could be done beyond the hospital setting to better serve patients who werenât responding to the âone-size-fits-allâ approach of conventional medicine. She yearned for more time with each patient, to truly understand their needs, concerns, and the full picture of their health. For her, integrative medicine became the missing piece.
When Amanda shadowed at Meeting Point Health, she saw firsthand how transformative healing from within can be, and she was inspired. At Meeting Point Health, she cherishes the relationships she builds with patients and the privilege of walking alongside them on their healing journey. She loves learning the science behind each therapy offered and is always expanding her knowledge through research and blog writing. Amandaâs goal is to empower patients to take back control of their health and to support them every step of the way.
When sheâs not at work, Amanda loves walking her dog, going on adventures, strength training, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
Weâre so grateful to have Amanda apart of our team here at Meeting Point Health!
