MRD testing, or minimal residual disease testing, is a diagnostic technique used to detect and monitor trace amounts of myeloma cancer cells remaining in a patient's body after treatment.

By identifying and monitoring these minimal residual disease levels, clinicians can assess treatment response, predict disease relapse, and make informed decisions regarding further therapy.

Learn about MRD and what it means to be MRD negative and access the whole MRD testing course at HealthTree University.
