Tomorrow, Jan 30, a general strike is being called in response to ICE activity and the ongoing harm impacting communities across the country. We stand in solidarity with those taking action and raising their voices.

At KG Strong, we believe strength training can be an outlet in hard moments—an act of care, resilience, and readiness. Our doors will remain open as a space for support, movement, and safety.

Classes tomorrow are open for members to bring anyone from the community who could use it. All proceeds will be donated to Juntos, allowing us to “zero out” costs while still offering our space in support of the strike.

We believe movement is an act of care—and strength is something we build together.

If you’ve been around KG Strong for more than five minutes, you’ve probably felt Jenn’s presence—in the best way.

She’s ridiculously consistent, the first to offer help when someone in our community needs it, and somehow shows up for all the things (weekly Rooftop Yoga volunteering, hosting Book Club, events… you name it).

She has a special talent for making new people feel instantly welcome, and on top of all that? She’s strong as hell—and still getting stronger. We’re lucky she’s ours. 💜

Founded by Philly Magazine’s 2017 “Best Personal Trainer” Katie Gould, KG Strong is one of Philly’s only female-owned and powered strength training studios, offering top of the line private training, Kettlebell specific coaching, small group training, and Yoga.

At KG Strong we believe that strength training is the foundation of any fitness program, and that the benefits will last a lifetime. Whether your goal is to compete in a Kettlebell competition or to play with your grandkids, commitment to a regular and progressive strength training program will help you get there. Along with any good strength training program is a focused mobility practice to increase joint range of motion and tap the potential for more power. Many of the KG Strong coaches are certified personal trainers, certified StrongFirst Kettlebell coaches and Yoga instructors. Our private training and small group training programs incorporate Yoga and other mobility and breathing techniques into every session. We believe that moving well with breath and alignment will enhance your overall strength and well being.
