This weekend’s Power Through Perimenopause workshop was everything it needed to be—and more.

A room full of women showing up with curiosity, questions, and zero shame. Talking about the things we’ve been told are “TMI” (they’re not… they’re tell me immediately). Learning about our bodies, sharing experiences, and realizing we are not alone in any of it.

Because the truth is—no one prepared us for this stage of life.
So we’re changing that. Together.

From honest conversations around strength loss, fatigue, pelvic health, libido, and more… to actually getting on the floor and moving—feeling what it’s like to build strength, support our bodies, and fight back in a way that’s empowering, not defeating.

This is what it looks like to take your power back.
This is what it looks like to be supported.
This is what it looks like to thrive through perimenopause.

So proud of every woman who showed up, and every coach and practitioner who made this space what it was. ✨

9 years of KG Strong 💜

From one space… to two… to three.
From small classes to a full, thriving community.
From an idea to something that has truly taken on a life of its own.

We’ve flowed through rooftop yoga at Bok, lifted together through every season, raised money for our community, and created a space that’s about so much more than just workouts.

The real magic? The people.
So many of you have been with us through huge life milestones — moves, marriages, babies, career changes, and everything in between. Watching you grow, while growing alongside you, has been the greatest gift.

KG Strong isn’t just a gym. It’s a place filled with memories, support, strength, and a whole lot of love.

We have said it before and we will say it again… the thing that makes KG Strong so special is the community.

We are so much more than a group of people who like to get strong as hell. There are so many different clubs and gatherings that have spurred from coming together in the studio over shared interests and making connections outside of the studio.

From movies, to book club, to dinners and more the latest group is a monthly craft club hosted by a former strong mom!

Finding Inner Strength By Building Physical Strength

Founded by Philly Magazine’s 2017 “Best Personal Trainer” Katie Gould, KG Strong is one of Philly’s only female-owned and powered strength training studios, offering top of the line private training, Kettlebell specific coaching, small group training, and Yoga.
