Today, Friends Hospital had the privilege of donating 200 coats to the students at William McKinley School. It was an honor to support the youth in our community and spend meaningful time connecting with the students.

We’re deeply grateful to McKinley School for welcoming us and for the incredible musical performance shared by the students. The enthusiasm and gratitude from both students and staff made this day truly special and unforgettable.

Friends kicked off the holiday season with a festive Thanksgiving Luncheon and Pie Giveaway! Our incredible staff enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings and left with an assortment of tasty pies to take home.

We’re so grateful for the dedication, energy and compassionate care you bring to our patients every day. A special shout-out to our amazing dietary team for preparing all the wonderful food and pies that made this celebration so special!

Friends Hospital was honored to co-host the Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Services’ second Art of Reporting, now called Snap Rule, session today. This informative event was designed to help staff, partners and community members better understand recent updates to SNAP reporting.

We truly value this partnership and collaboration as we work together to support our community during challenging times.

We were honored to host NAMI Philadelphia’s Burnout and Wellness presentation, “How Do You Feel for Real?” This is a trauma-informed leadership and emotional wellness initiative powered by Revitalized Hope and Healing, created by Minister Nydia L. Williams, Trauma Empowerment and Purpose Coach and TF-CBT Psychotherapist.

This wasn’t just a conversation starter, it marked the beginning of a faith-conscious framework designed to transform how leadership, healing and the human experience intersect. We’re proud to be part of such a timely and much-needed initiative!
