For Developmental Disability Awareness Month and Women's History Month we wanted to recognize
Lois Curtis (14 July 1967 – 3 November 2022).

She was an artist and lead plaintiff in the landmark Supreme Court case Olmstead v. L.C. (1999) that established the right of individuals with disabilities to live in the least restrictive settings possible. She was also diagnosed with cognitive disabilities and schizophrenia.

**Did you hear?? There's a new hangout in Delco!** Help-U-Bridge, LLC has teamed up with The Hangout Crafe in Springfield PA! Our first offering is Hangouts, a pop-up social opportunity for adults with disAbilities. Hangouts includes a delicious lunch by The Hangout Crafe and activities facilitated by Help-U-Bridge's Recreational Therapists. This is one of many more collaborations to come! This month we're recognizing our Recreational Therapy professionals ranging from Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists, degreed, and currently studying Recreational Therapy. Thank you to our Founder Diane Williams for starting this amazing RT agency in 2012.
