Some of the city's side streets are still a mess. If you need assistance with snow removal, please see the information below.

Snow Removal Assistance ❄️

Call 311 to report snow-covered curb cuts or blocked sidewalks.
If additional assistance is needed, requests can also be made through the Mayor’s Office at 215-686-2181.

Snow-covered curb cuts and sidewalks create serious barriers for people with disabilities. These are not inconveniences — they are accessibility issues.

Accessibility does not pause for weather.
Curb cuts are essential infrastructure, and safe mobility matters.

Please share this information with anyone who may need assistance.

Image Description:
A winter street scene in a dense urban neighborhood shows snow piled high along sidewalks and curb cuts. In the foreground, a person using a wheelchair faces a snow-blocked curb ramp, highlighting how unshoveled sidewalks create barriers to safe movement. Row homes line the street, and fresh snowfall covers the ground, emphasizing cold weather conditions. Bold text overlays the image with snowflake accents, directing residents to call 311 to report snow-covered curb cuts or blocked sidewalks and providing the Mayor’s Office phone number for additional assistance.

Yesterday, SBR was proud to welcome legislators and community partners for a discussion on behavioral health, autism, and intellectual disabilities.

Thank you to Senator Joe Picozzi, Rep. Anthony Bellmon, Rep. Sean Dougherty, Rep. Ed Neilson, Senator Tina Tartaglione, Pennsylvania Advocacy and Resources for Autism and Intellectual Disability (PAR), Philadelphia Academy Charter School, George Washington High School, and The Alliance of Community Service Providers.

We are deeply appreciative of all the attendees and presenters who shared their lived experiences and perspectives. Your stories and insight are powerful and essential in helping leaders better understand the realities faced by individuals and families — and how policy can better support them.

We value our partnership with PAR and our legislative allies and look forward to continuing this work together to strengthen services and supports for our community.

SBR is ringing in the New Year with an exciting change! We are proud to introduce our new CEO, Jennifer Fenton.

Jennifer is teaming up with our founders, Frank Tieri, CEO Emeritus & Linda Tieri, President, to ensure SBR continues to thrive. While we are focused on the future, we aren’t forgetting where we started—carrying forward the 30-year legacy of quality and community that Frank and Linda built from the ground up.

Supporting Jennifer in this mission are Executive Directors Dr. Nina Parker and Paula Grochowski, both long-standing pillars of the SBR legacy.

Cheers to new beginnings and lasting traditions!
