🎄 Day Four: Self‑Care Matters
Fairmount Behavioral Health
The holidays can pull you in a dozen directions at once. While you’re showing up for everyone else, it’s easy to forget the one person who needs your care the most — you.
Today is your reminder to pause, breathe, and give yourself the same compassion you offer others. Small acts of self‑care can restore your energy, protect your well‑being, and help you stay grounded through the season.
✨ Make space for rest.
✨ Set gentle boundaries.
✨ Choose moments that refill your cup.
✨ Let yourself slow down.

🎄 Day 3: 12 Days of Mental Wellness Tips 🎄
The holidays are often painted as the “most joyful time of the year” — but for many, they can feel overwhelming, stressful, or even lonely. 💭
✨ It’s important to remember: you’re not alone if the season feels heavy. Stress during the holidays is a common experience, and it doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong.
💡 Give yourself permission to slow down, set boundaries, and focus on what truly matters to you. Joy looks different for everyone — and that’s okay.

🌟 Meet Kristina Westervelt, our new Occupational Therapist! 🌟
Kristina is a graduate of Salus at Drexel University, where she earned her Master’s degree and Pennsylvania license in Occupational Therapy. Over the past two years, she has worked in acute rehabilitation, helping patients regain independence and confidence. Her passion for mental health began in graduate school while interning with Resources for Human Development, and she’s excited to continue that journey here at Fairmount.
Occupational therapy empowers individuals to build independence and develop the skills needed to participate in the activities that matter most. At Fairmount, Kristina will use client‑centered interventions and meaningful activities to support patients in engaging with their everyday routines.
✨ Kristina is eager to help individuals reach their goals and live life to its fullest potential — and we’re thrilled to welcome her to the Fairmount team! ✨
