Pleased to offer a CDA Course- Center Based. (Candidates choose their pathway. Infant/Toddler, Preschool, Birth to Five).
It has been officially been approved by the Pennsylvania Key. This comprehensive 120 hour training was designed to strengthen educator practice in child development, responsive interactions, health and safety, and professional competence. It fully prepares candidates for the CDA portfolio, verification visit, and exam.
A valuable benefit is that some higher education institutions recognize CDA training for college credit. The Community College of Philadelphia (CCP) is one example of a college that may evaluate CDA coursework for Credit for Prior Learning, depending on individual student review and program requirements. This creates a meaningful pathway for educators who want to continue their education.
Here is the approved 120 hour breakdown:
Principles of Child Growth and Development (14 hours)
Social and Emotional Development (12 hours)
Productive Relationships with Families (12 hours)
Observing and Recording Behavior (12 hours)
Physical and Intellectual Development (28 hours)
Maintaining Professionalism (16 hours)
Safe, Healthy Learning Environment (14 hours)
Effective Program Operation (12 hours)
Enrollment opens soon. If you are ready to begin your CDA or want to support your staff in completing theirs, message me to join the interest list. Pqasmossy@gmail.com
