Penn ADAPT is a group of like-minded student engineers who are passionate about assistive and rehabilitative technology.

Assistive Devices and Prosthetic Technologies

A team of innovators, builders, and thinkers with a goal of designing low-cost medical tools to help those in need. With a range of backgrounds and skills, Penn ADAPT members work to design, build, and improve assistive devices for individuals living with disabilities including cerebral palsy and limb loss. We apply the skills we learn in Penn Engineering to impactful projects that engage outside communities.

Our new member application for Fall 2021 is now open! If you are interested in working on projects utilizing engineering techniques to help people with disabilities within the Philadelphia community and in attending workshops on topics such as SolidWorks and Arduino in order to further develop your technical skills, then ADAPT is the club for you!
