Medical errors have been reported to be the third leading cause of death in the USA. Of these, a Canadian 2004 adverse events study deduced that 24% of adverse events were medication related.

Also, in an out-patient setting, due to several factors, including distractions, lack of comprehension, insufficient education, miscommunication, disability, and others, medication errors committed by patients and caregivers are surprisingly high, but unrecognized.

Our vision therefore is to be a leading hub for medication counselling and drug information research services - our strategy to decrease the number of adverse events due to medication errors. ​ ​

​To accomplish this goal, we have on our team, experienced pharmacists mostly with the doctor of pharmacy degree (PharmD), physicians and other healthcare professionals.
